NATE TO RETURN!

It didn't look possible, but Nate Bell's shoulder doesn't appear to be as bad as originally reported. He should be okay for the season opener. Watch out JMAHL players. Nate looked great in every preseason game.

Holt: "I Will Go Undefeated"

Season One Eastern Conference Champion Josh Holt predicts he'll do what the Patriots almost did: go undefeated throughout the regular season and win a championship. Holt's first opponent is the recently married reigning champion Ron Fallica. It won't be easy...

NATE OUT FOR THE YEAR?

For the last two years he's enjoyed the #1 seed in the West. With exception to Josh and perhaps Yevo, he's defeated Ron more than anyone else, and the ladies love him -- but Nathan Bell just may not make it back to Pinz for Season 3.  Doctors fear he may have torn his rotator cuff, in which case it will take weeks to recover, and too late to participate on the JMAHL tables.

Injuries have been an issue for Mr. Bell in the past. Year One he suffered through a sports hernia, Year Two was no walk in the health park either -- but he's always been able to rebound and win more games than anyone else in the West. (At least in the regular season)

We wish Nate well and hope he'll return healthy and dominant as ever.

World Air Hockey Championship in Vegas!

THE 2008 AIR HOCKEY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS have been confirmed for March 28-30 at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Doubles event will be played Friday the 28th and the singles will begin Saturday the 29th and end on Sunday the 30th.  Players of all skill levels are welcome and entry fees are based on experience levels. First time tournament players usually pay a fee of around $20 however if entry fee's are an issue I'm sure something can be worked out with the USAA president to provide discounted or waived entry fees. Our Las Vegas tournament is by far our largest most fun event of the year. We have already received confirmations from just over 40 players that will be attending including 9 of the top 10 players in the world and at least 20 of the top 25. Tournament participants receive a world ranking as well as free t-shirt from the tournament.

Discounted rooms are also available at the Riviera, just tell them you are with the Valley-Dynamo Fooseball/Air Hockey Group.
